For Buyers
When receiving and accepting offers
Check seller ratings
Always check the seller's rating and previous deal history before proceeding.
Chat before meeting
Use Wantoo chat to discuss item details, condition, and price before agreeing to meet.
Meet in public places
Always meet in well-lit, public locations like markets, malls, or cafes — never at home.
Inspect before paying
Always physically inspect the item before handing over any money.
Never pay in advance
Do not send money before receiving the item. Wantoo does not support advance payments.
Bring someone along
For high-value items, bring a friend or family member when meeting a seller.
For Sellers
When sending offers and completing deals
Be honest about condition
Accurately describe the item's condition in your offer. Misrepresentation damages your rating.
Share real photos
Send clear, recent photos of the actual item — not stock images.
Honor your offer
Once an offer is accepted, follow through. Cancelling repeatedly will affect your rating.
Meet publicly
Same as buyers — public places only. Never invite strangers home.
Verify payment
Confirm payment is received before handing over the item, especially for high-value goods.
Don't share sensitive info
Never share bank account details, UPI PIN, or OTPs with buyers under any circumstance.

Report it immediately. Our moderation team reviews all reports within 24 hours and takes action on verified violations.
